SO BLESSED

Joshua and I have been blessed in so many ways. We have so much to be grateful for and now we are adding one more thing to the list.......A New Baby! We are so thrilled to be having another little kiddo this summer. I really didn’t plan on telling anyone until atleast 4 months, but I let my pride get in the way. I had to take it easy for a while and I didn’t want Josh’s family thinking that I was just being lazy so I allowed Josh to tell them. I am only 14 weeks and it seems like I have FOREVER to go. But at the same time, so much has happened in only 14 weeks. It has been quite the adventure already compared to my pregnancy with Annabelle. It started off with me being told I wasn’t pregnant. Then they said I was pregnant but I was going to miscarry. Then they decided I wasn’t going to miscarry and that everything should fine. Then a few weeks later other issues came up and I was put on a moderate resting mode and wasn’t allowed to lift anything, which I'm telling ya is basically impossible with a 2 year old. But I am happy to report that things are looking better now. I promise, I am not complaining about any of this at all. And I certainly don’t want any special attention or anyone to feel sorry for me. We truly recognize what a blessing it is to be able to have children. There are so many people who struggle and want to be able to have kids so badly but for whatever reason their situation doesn’t allow it. Therefore, I would never complain about my circumstances. But I must say the best thing about being high risk is that you get to have early ultrasounds. It has been absolutely amazing to see my little babe moving around inside me long before I can feel it. I know I still have a long way to go, but I really am so excited to have this little one and for Annabelle to have a sibling. So on a little lighter note, let’s do some rumor control......

YES it was planned.
NO we hadn’t been trying for a long time. I’m all about people having their own kids whenever they feel they are ready and when they and their spouse decide together that it is time, but just because my kids are more than 18 months apart, don’t think I’m infertile!
NO I haven’t had morning sickness. I am very fortunate that I don’t get that at all.
YES I am huge already. Actually I don’t really think so, but that’s just what I tell people when they ask.
NO I haven’t gained any weight. I’ve actually lost a little being sick (with a cold) and not being able to do much for a few weeks. I’m not trying to brag, but people just keep on asking! However I am definitely starting to feel the bulge!

I guess that pretty much sums it up. We can’t wait to meet baby Yates in July!

Ya! I just heard last night through the Drummond rumor mill-no not from your mother-but I couldn't say anything on the blog for the world to see. I'm so happy for you. I had some "special issues" with Dakota at the beginning of my pregnancy, but everything was totally fine after that. Good Luck and my fingers are crossed for matching sister outfits!

thats very exciting sally!!! Aunt Gail accidently let slip to me about it a couple days before christmas. She ask if had told mom and dad yet and from my reaction she pretty much got the answer. so I knew before we opened the present but I'm good at keeping secrets. :) Hope you all are doing good. Luv ya

We had craziness with Sophia's pregnancy at the beginning too, I'm so glad everything is going well now, I'm sending my empathy and well wishes! Good luck, I can't wait to hear the sex too. Davey and I want a whole brood of girls, are you guys hoping for a boy this time round? :)
