New Toy

I never know what will happen when Josh gets a day off. We were all thrilled that he had Saturday off but I had no idea we'd end the day riding a motorcycle! Josh was so excited when he found this beauty. Exactly what he wanted.....an old 1970's bike that runs. He's calling it the yellow hornet! It was worth every penny spent on it to see the pure joy and carefree look on his face as he rode it around.

Annabelle is in love too....with her daddy AND his new bike. If you can see it well enough, that is a big smile on her face. She wasn't scared a bit. I made Josh go slow and be really careful with her, especially since neither of them had helmets on!They were absolutely adorable enjoying some quality daddy/daughter time. When josh first took off on the motorcycle Annabelle went running after him. I figured I'd let her go for a while but then a young teenager came by on a 4-wheeler and I was afraid he wouldn't be paying attention to where Annabelle was, so I started to run after her. As soon as she saw me coming she started running faster and faster and faster. I had no idea she could run so fast! So here I am running, more like high-speed fat girl waddling, across the dirt trails. It was quite the site! When I finally caught up to her she wasn't happy. She wanted to go with daddy. It took some convincing but I finally got her back up by the truck, at which point I was sure I could have this baby any minute. That crazy run sent me right into contractions and Josh couldn't understand why I didn't want to take the motorcycle for a ride after that. It was all worth it though. We had so much fun with it in just a few hours. Josh is such a good guy to let us all go out with him. Which is exactly why Annabelle had to have these pajamas.
I love my little family!

That is a great bike. Looks like stuff we had growing up. I understand completely the contractions too. Running after Grant always sets me off too. Especially when it is that frantic you are going in the street run after. Hope you can keep that baby in a bit longer!

That looks like so much fun!! All these new fun toys... I am jealous! I hear you about the contraction thing, Braxton Hicks are no fun! Not that they hurt, they are just REALLY uncomfortable! You are awesome to run after her though! And, little miss Annabelle is so cute and adorable in those cute little pj's! I love them!! I need to find a pair like that for Kailey!!

It's fun having a blog to post every little thing going on in our lives! It makes you appreciate all the moments you have with your family, even if the moments aren't that big or whatever...ya know?

Yes, we may stop by today! I'll call you later. Jackson's fallin' into a early nap again.

Sounds like fun, except for the contractions!

Uncle Mike got a new dirt bike also. When you move home Uncle Mike and Josh can ride their dirt bikes and you and I can each take one of the girls on our 4 wheelers and we can go riding! How fun would that be - picnics in the mountains and wading in a cool steam...... We are going to the Ringing Rocks at Pipestone tomorrow. Have a good Memorial Day Weekend. LOVE to all of you.
