Home In Montana

I know I haven't blogged in a long time.....we've been busy. The move went alright, but we haven't found a house in Missoula yet so we are still in Drummond. We have looked at several houses but I am being picky. I guess I don't want to settle for something that really isn't going to work for us in the long run. So the search continues. Meanwhile, Annabelle is loving being so close to Grandma and Grandpa Kroll. She gets spoiled everyday. Layla is growing like crazy and I hate it. I seriously don't want her to grow or change a bit! I like her being dependent on me. I like feeling needed and important. That's what keeps me motivated to try and be a better mom every day because my kids need me and I want them to look back and be grateful that I was there for them.....I hope that happens.

Anyway, we've also been having some fun since we've been back in Montana. The 16th was my birthday and we celebrated with lots of family coming over for a BBQ. The 18th was our 5th anniversary! My mom watched the kids for a little while so we could go out to dinner. I can't believe I've been married 5 years, but at the same time I feel like I've known josh FOREVER! Now today is Josh's birthday. Josh has gone fishing, on motorcycle rides, out shooting his bow, and picked out his birthday present from me......a .44 mag pistol. Josh said he's never felt so stress free as he's felt since we came back to MT. Of course I haven't been out doing so much since I have to be around to feed miss Layla. But it's a small sacrifice I make for my baby girl.

Hopefully we'll find a house soon and Josh will go back to CO and get the rest of our stuff out of our house. It's definitely a crazy time, but we are loving being back home!

You are such a great mom!! Annabelle is lucky to have you! One day, they WILL appreciate everything you've done for them, but unfortunately it probably won't happen until they have chidren of their own. I thought I appreciated my mom enough until I had Jackson and now I just can't thank her enough for all of the sacrifices she made to be a good mom.

Hey, we miss you guys! Glad you are where you really love being, though -- with your family. And, hey, we have the same birthday! What a great day to be born! Our anniversaries are almost the same, too -- ours is the 19th. Funny! Well, best of luck to you guys, take care and come back and visit sometime! :)
