Georgetown

We had a great time today at Georgetown Lake. It has been unusually rainy and cool so far this year so this was our first time out. Of course with the first time out there was lots of tinkering with the boat....

It was my brother's birthday and he had a friend, Bethany, visiting for the weekend. She is super nice, and just couldn't be any cuter!
The water was a bit chilly, but Aaron braved the elements.

Annabelle climbed on trees and played with sticks.

Layla was absolutely filthy by the end of the day and happy as could be!

Annabelle liked Bethany so much that she gave her a hug and said "I love you".
After a day at the lake, I finally feel like summer has begun.

So fun! I love Georgetown. Are you guys sticking around for the 4th of July? I'm coming home this week!

Hey! we didn't know the boat actually floated, if we had known that we would have kept it. When do you think we could get that back?!? lol... jk!! We're glad to see the pumpkin is actually being loved & taken care of!! Looks like you guys had a ton of fun, we wish we could have been there with you. And, when you come should bring those polka-dot shorts cuz Kailey has them too & then we can take a picture of the girls in their matching outfits... like their "first friends" picture!! It will be SO cute!!

That looks like a blast! Layla is looking so much like you! I love the picture of you two smiling together. Oh! I don't know if you heard yet, but Trapper and Braden will be flying out to Utah for Megan's farewell. It's all we can afford at the moment, so Jackson and I will be partying at home by ourselves.
