Fun On The Slopes

Josh and I had the opportunity to head up to Moonlight Basin on Saturday to hit the slopes. Josh was skiing and I was snowboarding. When we got there they warned us that a lot of runs were on wind watch and that it was likely that everything could be closed later in the day. So we hurried up and got going! The first few hours were great, but then it started to snow really hard. We wanted to get as many runs in as we could before the weather got bad so we didn't take time to stop and get our camera. By the time we stopped for lunch it was snowing so bad that we weren't able to get any pictures!!!! BUMMER! So this is the only picture we have. Here we are after our fun day. Only a little windburnt!!

It was a good thing we left when we did because there was already a ton of snow on the roads and lots of wrecks in the canyon as we came home. While we were away, Annabelle and my mom played all day. Mom even took her shoe shopping and got her these sparkling pink shoes.

They are adorable! A big thanks to my mom for coming over and watching Annabelle. And a GREAT BIG thanks to Jenny for the ski passes!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU JENNY!!!!!!!!!

Cute Shoes! New shoes are always so much fun, Kailey loves shoes! If she could she would wear shoes all day! Zack has been bugging me all winter to go snow bording, but I am too chicken to try it! And, I'm glad you guys made it home safely! Bad roads are so scary! And, please thank your mom for her comment, it made my whole weekend! I missed our dailey chats, and mid afternoon cokes this weekend, so we'll have to talk soon! Have an excellent day!

Oh, yeah I almost forgot to tell you...I was looking at my sister-in-laws blog, and she had links to other blogs she liked on there, so I took a gander at some of them...and one of them at this sweet slide show from slide.com! So I went to the web site and signed up and they have some really cool options for slide shoe settings, that are cooler than the photobucket ones! So, check it out and let me know what you think!
