5 months!

Wow, 22 weeks down. I am now 5 months pregnant. My little baby girl has started to move so much more and I'm loving it! My life is so great right now. I am married to the most wonderful guy, I have a 2 year old I absolutely adore, and another sweet little girl on the way. I really mean it, things are great. This last week I have really felt my energy come back. I was beginning to think that wasn't going to happen this pregnancy, but it did, and I am thrilled. I have gotten so much done and have enjoyed so many things with Annabelle. We're almost ready for the garage sale and our deck is almost finished! Some might not think my situation is that great, but I'm not complaining. Sure, the ongoing contractions since Saturday aren't the best thing in the world, but as long as they're not affecting my baby girl I have no problem with them. Just add them to the laundry list of things wrong with my body right now. (blood clot the size of Texas tops the list right now) But honestly, I am feeling great. How could I not love my life.......look at this sleeping beauty.
A little closer up. I LOVE this little girl!
And our bench got finished in time for the ward talent show last Friday. This picture makes it look awfully gray, but really it is a rich tan with a brown distressed glaze.

In other news, I started potty training Annabelle today. I really have no clue what I am doing. So if anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it. Any websites or books you have to recommend, I'll take all the info I can get!

You r amazing. You have the best attitude. I'm liking u more and more. On the potty training issue...after my five kids I have decided that you as a mom will know what will work with your babe. Every kid is so different and everybody will tell you the best way to do it. Go with what feels right to you.

good luck with everything! and i think potty training tops the list :) my advice is to be consistent, once you start don't go back. and bribes are great incentives to use the potty!

You are an inspiration to us all! Look at all you are going through, and instead of complaining about it all you find the sunshine in it! You are truley amazing!! I mean lets face it most of us preggo women complain and panic over every little pain and strechmark! But, we could all learn a thing or two from you and learn to be paitent and happy for our blessings, instead of complaining all the time!! Lets face it Mary Poppins, you are Practically Perfect in Everyway!! LOL!! And, I am the last one to ask for advice about this whole potty training thing, I am just as cluless as you are!! Hahaha!!

Your Grandma Doris had these words of wisdom about potty training. Once you start potty training their shoes and socks just smell like pee until they are 4. My advise is wait until they are 4 or when they beg, and I do mean beg, you to let them wear pretty panties! Glad to see you feeling well enough to do a few things. Remember Penny and I are just a fast trip away and we would love to scoop you up and bring you to Drummond and spoil you and Annabelle rotten. Take care of all my girls, that includes you!! Love, Mom
PS when are they going to add spell check to these comment sections?

I don't know if it really works all that well, but Cheltzi loved Elmo Potty Time. If I can find it I wll bring it to church and you can borrow it. I have your necklace you wore to the ward party. I will bring that too. And I LOVED the bench.

I am a friend of Jessica's! Anyways some advice about potty trianing! I was a nanny and had to potty train the 2 year old so this is what my mom and others told me to do: put her in a dress and nothing else and have the potty close and then she will be able to feel when she goes because it is hard for them to tell with a diaper. Anyways it worked out great she was potty trained in about a week and half oh yes and when they go in the potty have a special treat for them. Good luck!

hey sal-

It's Kelsey! Just letting you know I check up on you now and then when I'm avoiding my work. I can't say i have anything to offer about the potty training situation, but I do have a great suggestion for a middle name for the next little girl - Sparky! I thought of our kittens sometime this week and figured that would go well (better than Ferdinand...) with the perky attitude I'm sure she'll have.
hope things even out for you and the little one!
