I wasn't. However, I am happy to report that my sweet girl is back. Quite possibly the whiniest/funniest/craziest/meanest 4 days of Annabelle's life!

But, as I said, my sweet girl is back. She handed me this today and told me it was a cake for me. Ummmm, thanks!

Just in case you weren't sure, that's a bucket of spit. I was quite pleased to see the chunks, though. We do a bit of a celebration when she finally breaks one loose and coughs it up! She has been telling me that she wants to do something special for me. She even made me not be in the picture as she talked with Josh about it on Skype. (As if me not being in the camera view meant I couldn't hear her!) She told him all about how when she gets out of the hospital, she needs him and grandma to help her make something for me, but I can't be there because it's a surprise. Oh, I love that kid. Let's pray it's not another bucket of spit though!

She is now beginning the healing process following radiation. What could possibly make you feel any better than pink princess goodies straight from Disney World!?! Thank you to my friend Shannon, you're the best! (And isn't she just the cutest?) I love you!
