Nap Time = Craft Time

I have been sorting through all our stuff lately and getting ready for a garage sale. We decided it was a good time to do it. We can clear some of the clutter so the house will show better and then we'll have less to move when the house sells. Well today I started on the dreaded spare bedroom closet. It is largely filled with crafts and decor of all sorts so it's mostly mine to deal with. Well I came across a Christmas tin and was debating whether to chuck it or not. (sorry no before pic) Then I spotted some fabric I had leftover from a dress I made for Annabelle almost 2 years ago. I decided I needed a little break while Annabelle is napping and I came up with this idea.

I just hot glued that fabric right on there in a few strategic layers, added a little ribbon and a button, frayed the edges of the fabric and she was done. Of course I could have lined the bucket too but I kind of like the galvanized look of the inside.

So what did I do with it? Well, for now it is in Annabelle's bathroom with lotion and such in it. I'll probably relocate it a million times but I think it is cute in there for now.

This would be a great idea for a slightly larger tub or basket to keep decorative towels in. Now I'm rethinking that wicker basket on the back of the toilet (just out of site in this picture)!
